2016 home shirt first peak with (not the) new badge?

I've been told that all the City kits have been designed by Nike up to 2018/19 season. Next seasons will be controversial.

Now, as we know by this seasons away shirt (moon moving from chest to arms at last minute), things can be tweaked at any point, HOWEVER, as things stand next seasons home kit will be City blue shirts, City blue shorts and fully white socks BUT (here's the controversial bit) the sleeves on the home shirt will be navy blue!

The away kit will be the same design as the home kit but the main colour will be navy (same colour as home shirt sleeves) with the away shirt sleeves in purple.

The third/cup shirt is the exciting bit as that will be an orange kit....that changes colour!!!

Apparently it will change colour (different shade) to the human eye when the shirt is at different angles and when the light hits it.

So there you have it, what do you think of all that blues???

I'm currently on the way up to Newcastle as I'm working up there today so I won't be able to comment and reply as readily as I normally do.

They could well do it, as said look what Nike have done with barca kits, and they are a bigger club than us with bigger fanbase and I'm sure oppososition to the hoops from the fans didn't matter too much, except maybe advertised the new kit a bit more

When they gave us the all sky blue Coventry kit last season, that was bad enough.

It certainly wasn't a City kit, but at least it looked like a City shirt.

If they produce a kit next year that's not even a City shirt then surely that's just going way too far?

Imagine Real Madrid getting purple sleeves next season. Or Liverpool getting white shorts and yellow sleeves? Would never happen in a million years at those clubs, and it shouldn't happen at City either.
 
Hope that's not for real - it looks awful. We need to give the club and Nike some very genuine feedback if this is the 2016 kit - it's up to each individual to decide but I wouldn't buy that. I also think it undermines the good work re the new badge - a return to tradition with a Coventry kit!
 
That's the problem with the big companies. They don't give a shit. They know it's gonna sell no matter what it looks like, so they just make it as cheap as possible.
