2017/18 Checkatrade(EFL) Trophy (15/08 v Rotherham)

And the chance of a new lower division ground seeing as we never get them in the FA or League Cups.
^^^^ This is what I'm thinking too - good god you might even get another York away for the last 3 or 4 City fans who missed the last time (including me)! EDIT scratch that - need to become a County supporter to get York

I'm surprised we're entering this season as nothing seems to have changed re some of the dates clashing with international weeks and according to the regulations :-

Matches may not be postponed due to Players having been called up to play for their national association’s representative matches.

The first round of group matches are scheduled for w/comm 28th August, the first major internationals week so I imagine most of our more talented lads will be called up for under-age national teams.

The 3 group games are scheduled for the weeks leading into the international breaks before Xmas.

MCFC1993 what makes you think they will be played at the Etithad and not at the mini Etithad. If the club want to play at the Etithad, they will have to price the tickets cheaply to get fans to go. I was think something like £10 as the top price, with kids getting in for a £1 if accompanying a parent.

I think it's a great idea to enter this, really happy we've done it. Hopefully they can progress a bit and get 5 or 6 proper games against senior teams.

It was said earlier, and I've checked, all of the U21 academy matches are away matches.

If the lads encounter really bad facilities, maybe it will scare some of them into working harder.
