So that's Liverpool and United leading the way on money spent this summer but they do it with history not money apparently.

Probably because £47m for Fred and £19m for Dalot isn't unreasonable. Neither is £39m for Fabinho. We could quite conceivably be the first to break the £100m mark by this weekend.

I fully expect United to push past £200m this summer, though, potentially going even further if they get Bale. That's when it will be interesting to see the media reaction.

The rags and the dippers can spend as much as they want, because it`s not Arab money

Oh it wasn't a dig at the values, like you say they're not 'that bad', more just a statement about how they bleat on about us spending money and then that's the exact method they're using to 'catch up'.
