2020 was pretty terrible but I can take major positives from it.

My daughter continues to amaze me
Gave up smoking in September
We won the League Cup.
I'm still alive.

There's always light in the darkness. Whether we choose to look for it or not. Well that's the real question.

2021 will see the vaccines start to have an impact, by Easter things will ease as most of the more vulnerable should have been immunised.

It will also see Trump fuck off out of the White House.

By summer everyone will be starting to properly venture out again, seeing family and friends. I think we'll generally see a more tolerant society after what we'll all have been through together.

A lot won't be getting the vacine to well into early summer.

Trump means fuck all to how much of a shitshow this country could be in through a wank government and a no deal brexit.

Many will will be feeling the effects of this well into the winter economically and mentally.


Society will revert back to what it was, in fact throughout this crisis many have acted selfishly.and not given a crap about their fellow citizens.

As I said I ain't being negative but pratical and realistic in saying these things imho.

This year has been terrible , the first few months of the next year will be shit but on a lower scale but look foward to things being better but not completely in the summer

I will say though that when i was made disabled and i spent several months in inpatient rehab i thought i would never get over it , but i did , what i am trying to say is that shit always passes and you make a new normal depending on what you are left with

Totally agree with this, I've tried to stay positive throughout it, I've done things I hadn't before, and been places I probably never would have. I've stayed in touch with loved ones, and despite the shit show, kept a smile, and had a laugh where possible. I intend to carry on doing this, and after tomorrow the days start getting longer, the first upturn, it might only be a minute, but it's a minute less darkness than yesterday.
