Pretty much always for me recently.Sometimes the results are shite !
Brexit, 2016 US, 2017 & 2019 UK have all gone against my preferred result.

I know Twitter is all about short headline grabbing snippets but all he seems to do is call people names and make wild claims about Biden eating your babies or whatever. Does he ever say anything of actual substance?

I would guess that the early exit results will have trump in a lead, as most republicans vote in person and these are the votes that are counted the quickest, I believe it's one of the main drivers for him wanting polling to only count on one day.
No expert mind. I am just gonna try and watch as much as I can.
