He’s certainly trying to put the people in place. Sadly for Trump, the guys in uniform, with the stars on their shoulders swore an oath...to the Constitution, not Trump!

Republicans voted 70M times to not have a Democrat in the White House. Let’s separate that number from the number that voted for Trump, the candidate.

Let’s remember how many people hold their nose and vote for Party over person in every election. Trump is no different.

“Trumpism” is thought to be ridiculously widespread and deep, because the cult is rabid. OK, I’ll give you that it is rabid, and I might even grant you that it is widespread, but I’m not about to concede it is deep.

Trump runs to the places where he already has support, then touts that he drew a crowd of 10,000. Big whoop!

REPUBLICANS and DEMOCRATS are known to make up about 45-48% of the electorate EACH, with between 4-10% being “swing voters.” Nothing has changed!

Hillary Clinton was a widely despised candidate. Hated by Republicans and Bernie Bros alike, she STILL WON 3M more votes than Trump!

BTW, Trump is only the 4th incumbent to be beaten. He is also the only person to have been beaten in the popular vote in BOTH Presidential elections...with the largest number of votes EVER cast against him and widest losing vote margins!

As he said himself, 306 is a shellacking, a landslide, a beating! It’s also the largest Electoral College defeat ever for an incumbent.

Trump is dead. Trumpism soon to follow. Americans have a short attention span.

Fucking hell - I bumped into the local conspiracy theorist when walking the dog this morning. Normally he’s spouting shite about Covid being a hoax but this time he was claiming that they’ve been using blockchain technology over in the States to trace all the cases of voter fraud and they’ve found loads of them. I facetiously replied “So were all the cases of voter fraud on Trump’s side?” “No, no! They’re all Democrats”. Told the stupid twat that you should never believe a word that a narcissist comes out with. Funnily enough, he agreed with me on that but then carried on claiming there was widespread voter fraud and the Democrats had stolen the election. Oh, and he also reckoned Biden wants to bring in late-stage abortions - as late as the day the baby is due to be born ffs!

True, but this fucker is a full-on conspiracy theorist and has been for Christ knows how long. I just had no idea he’d also been brainwashed by Trump as well. He pulled out the line about the MSM pulling the wool over everyone’s eyes to which I responded that I don’t need the MSM to make my own mind up about Trump and that his own Twitter feed is enough.

I just like to hear what bullshit he’s spouting and then mock it. He’s got a sidekick now who helps out on his allotment - some woman who’s always been more than a bit odd. The other week she was trying to recruit me for a protest against lockdowns and oppression. I shut that one down straight away with a blunt “I’m not interested”
