I'm a socialist. Don't care for Biden much as he's an American Tory. Keir Starmer is certainly not what I want. Boris don't get me started.
But Trump is the biggest threat to democracy I've seen in my lifetime. American friends of mine seem quite relaxed he is going to jail for all sorts of shit he's pulled in NY.
I hope they are right.

You seem a reasonable liberal type whilst I am a left of Bernie type who reads Jacobin.
The important thing is modern history is littered with scenarios where people like you and I bicker away letting fascists in through the back door. Germany 32 and Spain 36 being prime examples.
We must set aside our differences and not let this happen.
