Considering #45 ain't a politician and he doesn't know what he's doing, that's not hard.

The issue is the politics of the Obama-Biden/ former Dem era allowing someone like him to seize the seat. It ain't gonna be fixed returning to the same type of politician, with the same thinking, serving the same donors before the people.

But, just as long as the Orange Clown is removed, everyone can go back to their games consoles and ignore the problems bubbling away under the service, just breaking through every so often.

Good job.
You’ve only got 2 candidates to take the country forward, are you really advocating Trump for that job, considering how divisive he has been for the states?

From a down to earth bloke in the UK I’m looking at the US and cringing with the thought of another Trump term. IMO, it is an ABT.

Only one had a rape allegation from a 13 year old. And it wasn’t Biden.

Both are fucking nonces. It's come to something when we are trying to defend one of them because of hatred for the other.

Like paying no tax, cunts like these 2 spend their rich and powerful lives doing what they like, above the law. Both completely unfit to be POTUS.

On that note, I'm back out of this debate. It's more toxic than our domestic Brexit thread.

Probably for the best. If you can see equivalence between the two you obviously haven’t been paying attention.

Appears you've bought in to the Trump campaign narrative tha Biden is a 'nonce'?

In campaigning terms, that's called projection.

Trump is the only candidate with credible accusations of sexual assault against him.

Enough attention to see the same posters who think they know it all.

Enjoy your day skipping between the two getting more and more annoyed.

It wasn't a debate, it was a pisshead in a bar shouting over everyone. Trump has maxed out his core vote and is unlikely to add to it. That's hopeful. Also courting support from some far right fuckwits such as Proud Boys is likely to backfire, most people don't like aggro and tend to go for stabilising influences.

There was no doubt whatsoever. Grade A c*nt.

His base will never turn on him, they're too far in now, but the swingers (ooh errr) may now be having second thoughts about backing him, and that could be crucial....
I would say those that want to support him but don’t want to admit it are looking for false equivalences with Biden to justify their support.

That was embarrassing moderating from Wallace. From the moment it started he allowed Trump to shout and interrupt.

It’s the old “they’re both the same” bullshit we’ve seen before, NO THEY ARE NOT

In respect of them both not being able to keep their hands off young girls/women they are exactly the same.

He doesn’t think the alternative IS very bad, Doc. There’s nothing for him to acknowledge. He’d rather that Trump win and millions suffer so that he can win a “victory” in a chat room rather than the people he purports to care for live better, happier lives. That’s why he gets flak, or gets ignored, as he goddamn should.

@DrBlueBob

See...? I don't even have to prove what I'm saying is correct. Not ONCE have these people recognised the issues directly. Not ONCE have they admitted the path to today's issues has created this monster.

They'll just attack me for an inherent truth but not to me, about me, through someone else.

It's a joke you're getting dragged into.

Not really, what could he do? He tried to be polite and then tried humour and finally tried to warn them. It was mainly Trump who didn't want a debate, he wanted to get his soundbites across and try to stop Biden getting his.

CNN's hits and misses has this as the intro:

The first general election debate between President Donald Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden is (thankfully) over.
It was, in a word, horrendous. Below, the best and worst from the night that was.
HITS
[This space is being intentionally left blank. This was an absolutely awful debate that did absolutely nothing to educate the public about the two candidates and what they would do if given four years to serve as president of the United States. It was, without question, the single worst debate I have ever covered in my two decades of doing this job. That it happened even as more than 200,000 Americans have died from Covid-19 and projections suggest that number could double by January 1 made the un-seriousness of it all the more striking -- and painful. It was, simply put, a deep disservice to democracy.]

I think they were unimpressed.
