US politics has pretty widespread implications for us as well, not least with the upcoming trade deal, "special relationship" meaning we're half way to war with anyone they take a disliking too, but also look at how Bannon and Cambridge Analytica got involved in British politics. Populism grabbing hold of the biggest western superpower has knock on effects around the world. His Climate policies affect us all. The economy of the USA effects everyone.

Even culturally, Trump has dominated the world discourse, film, tv, music.
