The data scientist in me is really hoping someone is tracking the time stamps of when various major outlets call certain states.

Would make for very interesting post-mortem analysis.

I have a number of friends from the United States. To a man, and woman, they are currently going apeshit on Facebook.

Its fucking brutal seeing adults behave this way. One of them is the actual Sheriff of the town he lives in. He's currently having a meltdown with the Deputy sheriff - in full view, on Facebook. If anyone is wondering what State I am talking about, well, it's Missouri. No surprises, eh!

I can now see why folk might be worried about reprisals and the escalation of violence if they don't get the desired result.

I can’t say I wanted a Trump win (much less a blowout) but I definitely agree that Biden winning by a nose is not an optimal outcome.

I think most of us will take it, but it would be much more helpful for a myriad of reasons for him to win handily, especially if he will have the opposition Senate (which looks likely).
