I can’t say I wanted a Trump win (much less a blowout) but I definitely agree that Biden winning by a nose is not an optimal outcome.

I think most of us will take it, but it would be much more helpful for a myriad of reasons for him to win handily, especially if he will have the opposition Senate (which looks likely).

Doesnt matter to me how many states are in it. the big thing is Trump is not POTUS, he can not interfere and pervert the course of justice and Bill Barr will be removed from the DoJ.

Yes I get that - I think politically its not a great position for the dems. They have lost some ground in the house, nothing gained in the senate, the next election cycles will be difficult again. Given the massive turnout they will be disappointed and with no movement in the senate it will be tough for Biden to get anything done.

But I'm not that arsed. Trump will be gone and there will be a whole lot of shit coming out of the woodwork. Even though the GOP have had a good night, they have to wrestle with the legacy of Trump and the fact there voters love a racist arsehole. They will have to find Trump mark 2 for next time. The Dems just have to find someone better than Biden or Hilary.
