But I reckon this is flat wrong. Trump and his nationalist xenophobia and contempt for truth and behavioral norms has swept the Republican party of all decency.

Trump will loudly protest grievance and hatred for the next four years and he or one of his odious offspring will seek the nomination and more than likely win it.

48% of Americans have been through the last four years and decided that yes, this is what we want in a leader.

All just opinion, of course. I'd love to be proved wrong

I think he will have annoyed so many people now that they will refuse to work with him once he's out of office

The Democrats will throw money and the kitchen sink at it, with Trump in the dog house and hopefully the jail house and with evidence aplenty that with the right ground game in Georgia there are Democrat voters to be found, plus, and not to be sniffed at, Mrs Biden will be measuring up the curtains in the White House.

Will be an interesting watch.

We shall see, I have spoke to a lot of trump voters who have said they voted for his policies, not his personality.

I could see them going for someone less inflamatory like Ted Cruz perhaps

Be something to watch during lockdown 2.2
 
Surely senior Republicans in the party will be embarrassed by Trump's antics. If/when Biden wins we may start to hear some murmours and criticism.
