I think they are both good and whilst I always enjoy these things I am starting to feel sad that the late Bruno Ganz's greatest performance in a superb film is now being whittled down to this sort of thing - I am starting to think it deserves more respect

It does - but the UK audience for any subtitled film is very slim these days.
