The ones in Florida are mostly right-wing but it seems that the Biden campaign simply didn't bother to target those in the South West and West Coast, seeing them as not part of the path to the White House.Might the Latino Dem base be weaker because of the whole Christian = GOP/Trump thing?
I want to agree with you and do, basically, as an outline.
All points raised could have attacked with the administration before.
What the MSM has done so cleverly is not allow anyone to look beneath the simmering boiling pot of the US. The Orange Gimp, not being a politician, just lifted it. He has almost 70M choosing him as a popular vote choice.
70M.
It's just too easy to blame the guy for holding up the mirror to the US.
People just want to put the mirror down/ the lid back on the pot and "go back to normal". I hope you give the Jimmy Dore vid a watch/ listen and you'll understand the issues from a working class position.
Very few on here care enough to understand the current situation and its future implications.

Thanks that is interesting. We hsve register for a postal vote weeks in advance and closer to the election we get the voting form itself. We are asked to return by a certain date using a double envelope so some opening can be done in advance. I am not sure how signature verification is done. Once my signature was rejected at the registration stage which infuriated me. I wrote back with the same signature and no problems since.I think they’re only doing mail ballots now. So, they had to be opened with observers from both sides in attendance. That’s fine, and it appears all the envelopes have been opened, verified and matched, and stacked.
Now, the sort machines can do 13,000/hr MAX, but every time the machine finds an imperfect ballot, the count stops and they have to determine if it’s legal and legible, etc., so it can be counted! This is where the Sharpie Conspiracy started!!
“Fast is good, but accurate is best” is the slogan of the day. The sad part is that into that time & space, Trump us injecting lies, deceit and the desire for insurrection!
Yes, there is logic to what you say.People are inately vulnerable, succeptible, to psychosocial phenomenon that means they can either form peaceful groups, or groups that exhibit violence against outsiders.
They've been sheparded all their lives not to bring out the worst in them. Trump was winding us up by saying he could push that further towards embracing their hate of outsiders, and there was nothing we could do about it.
It IS the leaders fault. They know this.
We are what we are as individuals. We will nearly all fall into a group at the drop of a hat, and it's always been true that once that identification with the others in the group has taken place, we are very likely to be a lot less critical of behaviour of others in that group, than otherise.
So, the people who organise and design the groups, who set the slogans, make the speeches, communicate the aims and targets, yep, they are bear the brunt of the responsibility for the excesses of the behaviour in the group.
It's a paradox of democracy. There is nothing but the will of individual. It's just nearly every individual's will becomes aligned with that of a group, to a greater or lesser degree.
What relevance is this?
Why is there such a lng period anyway? The first inauguration, in 1789, took place on April 30th, as they couldn’t get enough congress members to turn up any earlier. They then decided on March 4th as, apparantly, that was the date they’d worked out was the least likely to fall on a Sunday in future years. (Even now, a Sunday date is a private swearing in with the inauguration the next day).
This period is where the phrase ‘lame duck’ President came from and congress decided, in 1932, that the transition period needed to be reduced. Senate wanted January 15th and Representatives January 24th. They compromised on January 20th, which then became the 20th amendment and is now the date.
I‘d imagine this years shenanigans might make them think again, as there is a real possibility of either 2 months of absolutely nothing being done or, of course, 2 months of The Trumper ‘doing’ a huge amount, neither of which can be a good outcome. Of course all that becomes a moot point, should he somehow prevail......
Honestly like a cult. When he’s dragged out of the white house this lot are going to be dangerous
