I think today's the day blues. Pennsylvania and Nevada are going his way, Georgia should end up in a slight victory (we'll see with the recount). Arizona should have more results today.

One big thing I just saw online is that they've discovered tons of ballots in North Carolina that weren't delivered (because the postmaster general that Trump appointed gutted the USPS to try to help Trump win the election). It probably won't even matter for Biden to win the state, but if that can put Cunningham over the top against Tillis in the senate race, then Dems will only need to win one of two runoffs in Georgia to take the Senate. That would be glorious!

If Trump's playing with a full deck I know where there's a ward full, won't be long now......

They need to find the one man that can count. He's currently in a hotel room banging his sister.

It's not obvious to me who that more palpable candidate will be. I'd guess there will be an almighty struggle within the GOP between the old guard and the populist Trumpers. And Biden's going to need to screw up -- but the set-up for him is like the set-up for Obama -- nation's economy on its ass but bottoming. And you'd have to expect the pandemic situation to improve dramatically if not be eradicated on his watch. If the economy is good, inflation is under control and people are healthy by 2024, even if Biden says "Thank you, I'm done" (which if he's healthy he might be hard-pressed to) a new Democrat will have a good tailwind, exogenous events notwithstanding. Can Kamala do it? I don't know. I have to tell you I have an unhealthy attraction to her for some reason (I mean a physical one :)). Would be great if she takes a lead on foreign affairs and gets a chance to play a toughie internationally.
I have the same unhealthy attraction for her as well. Judging by your statements on here we have very similar political views and now we are obviously attracted to the presumptive VP. You can have her when she is back home in San Fran but she's mine when in Philly or on the east coast. :)

I keep wondering how the dipper orcs are going to react to all this, they love a ynwa hashtag but do they associate in the glow of someone else’s victory as they are want to do or as we know they love a candlelit mourning session. Tricky decision.

I certainly don't agree with some of her politics, and she didn't run an especially good campaign for President ("half-baked" comes to mind, and I don't think she took good care of her staff, which annoys me). BUT . . . I think she's smart, quick, sharp, tough, courageous, good rhetorically -- and I think this VP role will be good for her. I think she can grow into it. You can't just talk like a leader, or even just think like one -- you have to act like one. All that aside, if we were playing "Wouldya?", the answer would be "yes".
