Is there any point in polls before elections now?

seems like very election/ vote they’ve got completely wrong and it’s clear millions of people either don’t tell the truth or aren’t asked

It is primarily news organisations who pay for polls. It fills gaps in the 24 hr news programmes and generates discussion.

The problem is that the research does not quite understand the bias. However, some polls do get it right. Those that get it wrong tend to be the ones that are highlighted.

Deutsche Bank are supposedly trying (and failing) to shift the Trump loans they hold right now so they aren’t left holding the bag when he leaves office (both financially and legally, given the Russian ties).

They know what’s coming, so does Trump.
