Do you think that he will run again?
I think he will talk it up as there is good grift in running a campaign. And it keeps him relevant. He needs to be in the news cycle.

But will he actually run? So much water to go under the bridge between then and now. There is so much shit heading his way.

Thanks. My thoughts are that he would go not so gracefully off into the sunset but I'm sure I saw somewhere that as a running presidential candidate he would be shielded from some of the pending actions against him which would probably be good for him. He doesn't come across as a "Face the music" type of person.

No chance. He is a physical wreck, and I'm honestly surprised he made through to the end of the campaign this time.

He's got multiple ailments, he's morbidly obese and he has an alleged drug dependency (Adderall). He may well be dead in 4 years.
I hope he lives long enough to see his business empire dismantled when his creditors foreclose and when the fines start coming in as a result of the numerous court cases he will lose. I hope he also gets to see Don Jr, Eric and Ivanka convicted of their crimes.

There is always Biden's Inauguration to look forward to.

His heart packs up as he's sat in his pants in his penthouse suite in Trump Tower on a massive coke binge, shouting at the TV and rage tweeting.

I`d love to see the rant of all rants from him. I know this is going to be very hard if not impossible thing to do, but, I`d like him to look a bigger **** than he ever has before.

Are you suggesting that Trump won't be present at the inauguration ? Outrageous to think that he would break with convention ye of little faith

Yes

Sorry the article is still discussing overstatement of wealth not understatement.

"The filing cites a Washington Post article written by David Fahrenthold in March 2019 detailing how Trump reportedly sent “deeply flawed” documents over-inflating his net worth to apply for loans and insurance premium reductions, make business deals and boast to journalists."

I am happy to concede that there is evidence that indicates a possibility of insurance fraud, but it is overstatement of personal net worth not understatement that is the issue.

This is an extract from the Washington Post article referred to in your link. Apologies, I can't provide you link the publication paywalled and I obtained it via an external database. If it isn't breaking forum rules I can PM you and Trevor Morley's Tache a copy (about 2000 words long).

And earlier this month, the New York state Department of Financial Services subpoenaed records from Trump's longtime insurer, Aon. A person familiar with that subpoena, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to describe an ongoing investigation, said "a key component" was questions about whether Trump had given Aon these documents in an effort to lower his insurance premiums.

Both inquiries stemmed from testimony last month by Trump's former lawyer Michael Cohen, who told Congress that Trump had used these statements to inflate his wealth - and then sent them to his lenders and his insurers.

Reading between the lines I believe the type of insurance discussed in personal guarantee insurance made in respect of guarantees Trump in respect of insurance on a physical or financial asset.

Not something directly discussed on here but I have found the source of Maddow's claim about Trump picking a grossly inflated value for his mansion.

A graphic in the videoclip showed a financial statement for Seven Springs LLC (Limited Liability Company)- it was a valuation of the holding company and not what appeared to be the main underlying asset (the Mansion). Trump had plans to build luxury properties on the land and then shelved them- hence the yo-yo valuation.

In 2011, the statements said that Trump's Seven Springs estate in Westchester County, New York, was "zoned for nine luxurious homes." In the statement, Trump said those homes would yield significant cash flow as he built them and sold them. That led him to value the property at US$261m - far more than the roughly US$20m value assigned by local assessors.

At the time, Trump had received preliminary "conceptual approval" to build homes on the site.

But local officials said he never finished the last step in the approval process to build the homes or sell the lots.

None of the homes was built."
