I don’t think he’ll run again either despite all the noise he’ll make.

For all the reasons you mention but I do think as he gets worse and he will, he will be prevented from doing so by the Republican Party also.
If he becomes a pariah to enough Americans that it becomes obvious he will not win an election they won’t pick him. He’ll be dropped.

I don’t believe even the GOP would let him take them down that road.
I could be wrong of course. But it doesn’t seem logical to me.

And He’ll be as old as Sleepy Joe by then too and not nearly as fit as pointed out.

I really hope the true story of how that event ever came about comes to light.
I’d really love to believe it’s something along the lines of the spoof phone call one that was in here some pages back, or that someone at the garden centre saw the potential and reeled them in.

Jr. will probably make a run for something in 2024.

I don't think people have quite cottoned on to how much he has played up to the Qanon folks or how much the Trumpists love him for being an even more unabashed version of Donald.

I did actually wonder about the timing of this announcement.
See it had a big effect on the stock exchange also.

Surely that has to be an ever decreasing circle doesn't it? If there weren't enough people idiotic enough to vote Don senile back in now then I can't see the idiot son having a chance in 2024. The only reason he is anywhere near anything is only to do with his father.

If the USA gets through the next 10 weeks intact and Biden gets installed, the Trump family won’t get much time to campaign for 2024. They’ll be too busy spending whatever money they’ve got left on lawyers to try to keep themselves out of prison.

Possibly but I don’t see it myself.
4 years is a long time but a lot will happen in the next two months.

I think things will get worse for Trump and his family the more he tries to fight this result.

I don’t think ordinary Americans will tolerate what he would like to do.
I hope the dangerous lunatic fringe in his support is a lot smaller an element than people think.

Armed militants would run a mile if confronted with the US army or state troops.

Let’s hope it’s all hot air from Trump and supporters alike and things don’t escalate that way, but however you look at it I don’t see a good outcome for them if they pursue their present course.

I think that's 0.3% at the moment, if it exceeds 0.5% then Trump has to fork out for the recount so... Decent chance there may not even be one then.
 
Bill Barr is gearing up the DOJ to overturn the election. This has always been their strategy and it actually has a chance of working if they can get the military to back them.
