I did enjoy watching Brian Tyler Cohen's show last night about that fucking lunatic Tucker Carlsen having to apologise over a dead person voting claim.

I also like David Packman and his take on events, both are well worth a watch.

Thanks for that. I watch Brian, a bit of Packman and also The Majority Report, particularly when they take the piss out fo half-wits such as Dave Rubin

I see Donny has decided to go all shouty about a Clark County election set being thrown out. It's naff all to do with Trump/Biden of course, and therefore completely irrelevant to the main event - it's a county commissioner or something (and no, I don't know what that title means!)

Still, more fuel for the stupid.

Its the old line ain't it. You can tell they are lying, their lips are moving.
The thing is that when you know they're full of shit it's really funny. From Trump telling people about the possibility of injecting bleach to fend off covid to Johnson saying his hobby was making model buses out of old wine boxes you have to laugh just for the sheer audacity behind what they're saying.

From a personal health standpoint, which one of those lies would you choose to emulate, (action?)?

I've tried the latter (at least to the extent of the empty wine boxes) so that would be the road I'd travel down.
I always had you down as a smart cookie. :-)

Incidentally I had heard reference to Johnson saying that he made model buses which I thought quirky but it is rather less believable if he did actually say he made them out of cardboard.

I suppose that is more accessible to the tastes of the general populace than Greek scriptures, which I understand he is fond of.

He seems to quote the Romans a lot more than the Greeks, which would make sense. The Greeks gave us civilization, the Romans gave us roads.

At least the latter lie hasn’t endangered any lives, whereas the former has. That particular lie of Johnson’s (assuming it is a lie) is on a par with Tony Blair saying he remembers sitting in the Gallowgate End watching Jackie Milburn play. Only, the Gallowgate End was all standing when Wor Jackie was playing for Newcastle, and remained so until the 1990s, and Blair was a 4 year old living in Australia at the time Milburn retired.

Edit: I’ve just checked and it seems that Blair was mis-quoted and actually never said anything of the sort. He’s still been a lying fucker on all manner of other far more serious matters though!

I had to Google to check. He has a bust of Pericles in his office and apparently did a speech in Latin to promote to teaching of the classics in school. I knew about the Greek stuff but thanks for educating me on the Latin.

He definitely said it. It was almost astonishingly unbelievable as he added random words as he dug his hole deeper.

Meanwhile in America.

If the Georgia recount completes tomorrow, is there any excuse for the GSA not to declare Biden has won?
