They are collapsing in on themselves, jettisoning anyone who doesn't toe an increasingly fantastical, fanatical, fascist party line. Problem with that is there are plenty who -- like Barr -- who have all the dirt they need on Trump to destroy him. But this is how it works when criminals turn on each other, when truth doesn't matter and something like "prove there WASN'T fraud" becomes the central narrative.

But we were told by some of the real insightful, smug geniuses here that Trump's lies weren't anything more than reflective of what "all" politicians do.

All that's happening now is the logical conclusion of what the rest of us saw in Trump from the beginning.
