I feel exactly the same. I took my lad to Germany in January to watch 4 matches so the year was off to a blinder.I didn’t mind it initially, even the first few months of lockdown were quite novel plus the weather was banging. I naively thought we’d come out of lockdown and things would soon be back to normal, can’t see it for at least a year now :(
You’ve summed up exactly how I feel, a bit in limbo with it all. Plus shitting myself starting a new business next month in the current climate :(I feel exactly the same. I took my lad to Germany in January to watch 4 matches so the year was off to a blinder.
I enjoyed lockdown once I got used to it. I had a chance to look at the things that made me stressed and dealt with quite a lot.
As things began to lift, I felt myself getting more and more agitated. Now - the neither here nor there lockdown is shite, the weather is shite, City are shite and I can’t arrange any foreign trips.
A very average one for City for sure.
Think it will be while before we find our mojo again.
We don't have the speed , guile and fear factor anymore.
A new breed of players that can do all that needs to come in and you wonder if our club has the nous to find them.
Yeah true. Don't really look forward to the games anymore. For me it's because there's no crowd. Nearly forgot we were playing today, depressing.Shitty bollocks is what this year is , even football does not lift me up
Still cant believe i have given up being football obsessed , var started it and covid has finished it . It is depressing indeedYeah true. Don't really look forward to the games anymore. For me it's because there's no crowd. Nearly forgot we were playing today, depressing.
