Everything that is wrong with cricket. And then you watch a game like today and fucking love it! What drama!
Had some crazy stuff today with it starting raining and Bang being behind the DLS par score, an Afghan went down with cramp to allow the rain to come in.

He then bowled 10 mins later after taking off the strapping that 'proved' he'd got an issue.

This 20/20 stuff is a lottery and certainly not helped by the weather.

Apparently the weather forecast for the India England semi final day is pretty awful. There’s no reserve day for it.

The team that topped their group would progress should no play be possible.

Who decided that they'll be no reserve day, especially in a semi final?! Who decided it would go of if you topped your group you go through!? Why not go indoors and play one super over at least you get knocked out and feel like it was fair!

It does feel like a kids tournament where it over runs in the early rounds so they play a 5mins each way final!

India are so well 'looked after' by the ICC it's incredible!!!!!!!!!

It was excellent drama with the desire to see Australia eliminated alongside the weather and how the game swung one way then the other. Looked comfortable late on for Bangladesh, then the late wicket right as the rain got too heavy made Bangladesh behind on the par score when they were a run ahead the ball before. Two deliveries that stayed low got them through in the end, and I'm glad they got the job done (not only because it eliminated Australia).

They decided that it was more important to ensure there was a travel day after the 2nd semi final so the teams could get to the final. The final has a reserve day, so in my opinion you check the weather and if it's looking okay you push the final to the Sunday and give the 2nd semi a reserve day - they travel the following day instead and all is fine.

It's just so cricket to be this way.

The whole tournament has had little oddities like this. You seed teams on their world ranking for the group stage, then those seedings also apply to the Super 8s. So even though Australia finished above us, we were ranked higher than them. And if Scotland had have qualified instead of England, they'd have taken our seeding and been ranked higher than Australia too.
