2025/26 NFL

The browns taking 2 QBs is interesting
Throwing shit at the wall and see what sticks. I doubt Sanders or Gabriel will be more than 'below average'.

Have an extra first rounder next year. At this point, I would be happy with Mendoza or Sellers at QB from the 2026 draft

Mental note…
Rodri’s ACL and Manc in London clearly know miles more than me about NFL. Fuck ;)

I’m a Bengals fan so I’m all for a bit of a shitshow in Cleveland (not like our front office is much better)

Didn't know you supported the Baby Browns ;)

The Bengals are so cheap. The way they are treating Shemar Stewart and Trey Hendrickson has got to the point where I think it is self sabotage.

>600,000 in the queue for Vikings vs Steelers in Dublin today - anyone lucky enough to get tickets? I’m not in for them but I’ve heard the queue is going very slowly.

There’s already some early talk here in Cleveland of another 0-16 parade next January.
Underwhelming draft picks, Chubb gone and Haslam stirring up a wave of ill-feelings with the proposed move to Brook Park is all creating a storm of negativity around the Browns right now.

I am happy with the draft picks based on talent displayed at college. We never really know about the rookies for a long time yet. The defense should also be better in the run game with Carson Shwesharmyknife and Mason Grahan.

With a proper OL coach, going back to a scheme that suits the OL and complementary RBs, I am hopeful we get around 0.500. Cannot realistically expect much more. Hopefully get a franchise level QB in '26.

Ravens get Jaire Alexander. It’s all set up for them to do it now, with another elite addition, I don’t see how they won’t win it all.

When my son and mate eventually got in cheapest ticket was €475 before any of the fees. They've decided to sack off the European games and go to Miami instead. Did that last year and got 2 games in Miami

Jalen Ramsey goes to the Steelers for Minkah Fitzpatrick. That’s a hefty price to pay. I’d say a trade could’ve been completed for less compensation as Ramsey wanted out of Miami.
Edit: Miami are sending Ramsey, Jonnu Smith and a 7th round pick for Fitzpatrick and a 5th Round pick.

Steelers needed corner cover and I guess Ramsey will play slot. Jonnu Smith has followed Arthur Smith everywhere and probably rules out the Steelers going for a wideout replacement for George Pickens. No idea who’s going to play free safety now, though Tomlin uses the position as a run stuffer these days, which isn’t playing to Micah’s strengths, so he probably got bored.

Fairly happy with it from a Steelers perspective.

2 Firsts and Kenny Clark
Its a shit load of cash that's for sure, plus giving up two first rounders and a decent player is a big risk but probably makes the Packers NFC North contenders. Still don't think they are good enough to go all the way (Love not good enough) and gives them very little cap room to build on top of that with that contract. Add to that they give up their two 1sts and its not necessarily the glory move people think.

It’s hard to pass up on the opportunity to have Micah Parsons at that cost (trade-wise) though.

smart trade by the Cowboys. They aren't one player away from contention and now have four 1st Rnd selections in the next 2 drafts - use that wisely and they'll have good young Players under smaller cap numbers to make a run in 2026/7

On this season the Ravens look really strong, with a deep roster. They'd be my tip win the AFC.

NFC wise the Eagles, Lions, Bucs and Rams (depending on Stafford's health) look the classes of their divisions.
