2025/26 NFL

Do Sky not have any preview show or highlights?

They have an excellent team in the studio so would seem sensible to have another programme for the viewers other than the Sunday games.

Or is this due to TV rights, and C5 have them for this sort of programme?

Just been looking at the Lions schedule and their road games are bloody awful. Lost to the Packers, then have the Ravens, Bengals, Chiefs, Commanders and Eagles as their next road games.

Gonna have to win the home games and hopefully pick up a few away wins to have a chance of play offs.

Washington down to earth with a bump. Our offence has not clicked yet, hopefully having a long week now will allow more time to practise.
On another note, the channel 5 NFL live programme was totally and utterly cringe worthy. Who thought up that format needs shooting, no analysis just stupid games in the studio. I had to keep turning over when it went back to the studio. Terrible

That's the beauty of the NFL. The higher you finish in a year, then next years schedule is harder for you. The Lions shot up from nowhere and the tougher schedules may undo them I fear.

Furthermore, Ekeler has torn his achilles now, leaving their 7th round rookie as their RB1. Croskey-Merritt is a good player, but a lot of pressure to put on him.

Jake Browning has just put a serious shift in for the Bengals. Burrow gets injured in the 2nd qtr, causing browning to get put in. Goes on to lead the Bengals to go 27-31 up with 18 seconds on the clock.

Giants being giants again
My wife grew up a Giants fan, season tickets for years. I did not.

I told her if my kids want to watch NFL and support a team, fine. But I'll not force them to be a Giants fan (they are not local to us). They can make their own decision. After Wellington Mara died, his kids and Tish have fucked the club up and don't give a fuck about it beyond making money.

Old man Mara loved the Giants. The owners now love owning a team and the money it puts in their pockets.
