2025 Rugby League Season

Should’ve switched it round and had Wigan V Aussie ladies and Warrington V England ladies. Probably would have been more competitive.

I was still out in Town after the game last night so missed it live, but watched the highlights back this morning and Wire were shown up as being too small/short to be a dominant RL side.

We have exciting and high quality backs, but lack size power and speed up the middle.

That game in Vegas should have been the World Club Challenge between Penrith and Wigan.

Missed opportunity.

Shot in the dark here, but if anybody can help me get 2 tickets for the 1888 Cup (Lions/Argentina) match in Dublin on June 20th, that'd be great. The missus and I are over for a vacation and hoping to attend.

Ticketmaster site requires a password for Lions Rugby Club Members, and I believe its around £100 before paying for the tickets.

Any leads appreciated, cheers lads.

Put that request in the 6 Nations 2025 thread and good luck.

Should be a good signing Marc Sneyd. Always involved in the game whenever I’ve seen him play.

I hadn't seen any build-up to this. Nothing on the BBC morning sports bulletins, nothing on the BBC website. Can't understand the thinking involved in the lack of promotion.

Hull FC turn a 22-6 HT deficit into a 22-26 victory at Wigan

Wire only just scraped through away at Weirdness. Took two late converted tries to win it and make sure.

Hull FC v Hull KR
Warrington Wolves v St Helens
Wakefield Trinity v Leigh Leopards
Catalans Dragons v Salford Red Devils

A Hull derby, anything-might-happen at Warrington, Leigh will be happy, and two sides struggling to get out of a wet paper bag.

Wide open now in the Silk Cut, but the winner of Wire v Saints sure faves, followed by Robins.

Silk cut.... hahaha showing your age there

I’m like that with the darts. Can’t stop myself calling it The Embassy. I do it on purpose now just to annoy my lad. Don’t even think he knows what Embassy is.

Fantastic effort, and fully deserved from Wire, despite Kendall's efforts.

A special thank you for the plastic scousers bringing out their old trophies, before kick off. How small time?

In the Saints-Warrington match, at one point a Saints break saw the winger pass the ball towards a man inside, and the defender charged the pass down with both arms, not attempting to catch it.

Is there a reason that wasn't given as a knock-on? The commentators didn't react so I assume there's some rule for it, but I don't recall seeing anyone charge a pass down like that before.
