Croatia not the team they were. Scraped through to the semi-final in 2022, should have gone out to Japan. Knocked out of the Nations League QFs. Qualified comfortably for the 2026 WC but from a group that had Czech Republic, Montenegro, Faroe Islands, and Gibraltar in it.

It’s always bollocks with FIFA or UEFA. I didn’t realise they were seeding groups to avoid too many teams from one confederation in each group.
