Jeeze its a friendly calm down. Maffeo played in the last one it is important Sagna also gets game time.

Of course I consider it. But if he plays well or not is irrelevant in this match.
The fact he plays the likes of Sagna or Wright over Maffeo and Gunn says it all FFS... Would be interesting to see Sterling's debute from the first minutes of the match though
He is giving 3 youngsters a run from the start and I am others during the match - there has to be balance surely.
Seems pretty sensible to me - we need to get Sterling playing with his new teammates and get minutes into the first team players ahead of the start of the PL

Not only in this match, obviously. But it seems easier for Pellegrini to play some older and not always good and/or motivated enough players like Sagna over the likes of Maffeo to have a bad result in the end anyway. Would be happy to be mistaken obviously, but it doesn't tend to be so.Of course I consider it. But if he plays well or not is irrelevant in this match.
