I'll give the lad a break because he's been played out of position by Pep. We'll see next season just how much he develops. On the evidence of today's game I would confidently say that as a wide man/winger he's nowhere near as good as Brandon Barker or Rony Lopes.

If he had been an academy 'prospect', he'd have been loaned out with a view to permanent transfer
Nowhere near as good as Barker and Lopes hahah, comeon mate. Hes struggling a bit in his first year but hes shown he can score goals. He is being punted out on the wing when we don't play with out and out wingers and midgets up top even if he can get some space and get a cross in.

What that David silva who had a great first season? He scored at Blackpool in like October and controller every game since then? Even using the examples of Bernardo and Sane they still had more or an impact in their first seasons!
David Silva was criticised on here.

I said the same at the start of the game. Should have happened.

Most of Sterling’s best City performances - wide right
Jesus top 3 City performances - wide left
All of Torres’ best City performances - up front

thats two of is who think this why pep sticks him on the right I don’t know like say the drifting floating of Sterling and Jesus wasn’t working have them ridged for one game and putting pressure on the fullbacks

The biggest problem with him is that he isn’t a player who can be part of a side where 8 changes have been made. He needs to be integrated with the best side when only 1/2 changes are made. Having said that, he was absolutely dross today, created nothing at all and didn’t track back properly either leaving Cancelo exposed.
