He's a very young player we signed for £20m. People are expecting way too much of him at this stage. He's a raw talent and that's it. Will take a number of games, if not the entire season before we can truly assess his potential. The same grace we give Foden we have to extend to Torres.

I dont think Sane barely played a full game until then did he?

I know its early days but the two cameos he has played in have got to be the most underwhleming from any player since the takeover.

he is however young and had very little pre season so he may need time but he is playing with the bg boys now so he needs to press on quickly

I guess if we had a fit squad he would have been dropped in really slowly as this seems to be what Pep does with new players
