He works hard ,wants to Contribute positively but not happening and may not happen, not at ManCity anyway. Maybe a move away to some midtable club away from spotlight he may get better and get his confidence back and can be a decent player for rest of his career but at a topmost level in a team competing on evey front, it's. Looking very difficult for him.
Can’t see him making it in prem
Nowhere near to 6 level and can’t defend so no use for anyone near bottom
Basically needs to go back to France

The scapegoating here is insane. Mendy had a MUCH better game than Walker offensively. Defensively he made 1 mistake. On the other side Walker was caught ball watching one time and a Leeds player got a free header that he headed too hard. That was just as bad of a chance to concede, but nobody’s calling for Walker’s head in his thread. Yes he was shit against Leicester, then he got better against Burnley. Last night he was very good apart from the 1 mistake he did. He skinned Helder Costa at least 5 times by my count. Defensively not perfect of course but he could still improve. We have to give credit where it’s due. FFS this forum will be the death of me someday, we have to replace half our team apparently. Good thing Gundogan and Jesus are out because they’d be in your shit list too.
Please note walker has the odd good game
Mendy on the other hand....

Let’s be perfectly clear here , he is a complete liability.
He is an awful player, lovely man though and doesn’t deserve this abuse.
He knows time should be up for him , you can see it in his eyes.

Agreed. Its gettting to the stage of Mangala's level of abuse

He should never be abused, and it is poor from other fans to continuously harass him. Unfortunately his performances are on level with Mangala’s. He adds nothing to our attack and is poor defensively. We should have signed a LB to compete with him, but failed to do so. Now we got a player a deadwood player.

He was good in the 1st half.. After that was a disasterclass.... Needs competition

I'm more interested in seeing his time is up in Guardiola's actions. Never again should he wear a City shirt. I'm still struggling to grasp how he arrived here but more bizarrely how the hell he's classified as professional in his occupation. If he was a builder or plumber he'd be on that cowboy builders programme as a permanent booking. He really is that atrocious that in 45 years of watching City I cannot think of a player that has been such a liability and still keeps getting regular games. Is doesn't matter who the opposition is he has an unrivalled talent of making 3rd rate opponents look like Lionel Messi. Sends shivers down my spine even thinking of him in a City shirt again.

Walker consistently has brain farts, but most of the time his speed lets him recover.
He does
Again he is like mendy not a natural and has to concentrate but cant
What I’m saying is mendy rarely has a good game
We are happy when he has an average game

I find a lot the comments in this thread completely baffling. You've got grown men saying they don't understand how hes a professional footballer and should retire? The comments have no link to the actual game, its clear that some people just want someone to blame. If your reaction to that game is that he should never wear a city shirt again then you've lost any sense of objectivity and are just lashing out for the sake of it.

He was the best player on the pitch for 30 minutes. He created our goal, by winning the ball and then going on a 50 yard run through the middile he had Leeds in all sorts of trouble and he defended really well.

The yellow card was a silly mistake, it was just a bit of overeagerness, and the miscontrol was a bit naive in such awful weather but it didn't actually cost us.

This was a promising game for him. He showed he still has a good level in him, now he just needs an extended run so he can build back up the concentration levels, the confidence and the match fitness necessary.

I genuinely think a lot of people who have posted in this thread are going to look like complete tits before Christmas.
