23 years ago my wife booked a weekend at scroatyacres in Porthmadog me and our twin daughters aged 3. I initially refused to go, the compromise was we went Thursday I drove back in the Sunday to Macc to get the coach to Stoke
Got back to Porthmadog that night bumped into a bloke from Tyldesley who had also left his wife and kids for the day
Wouldn’t mind we were coming back mon anyway
And look at us now !!!!

Man that was some day. Wrong outcome but such an exciting on the edge day with all kinds of shit going on. I miss days like that.

Went on the Droylsden coach and was amazed we got back with all windows intact.
Got to see City on loads of new grounds the following season.
