Bernardo was right there (who also gave the ball away) and didn't bother running back.
Not….sure….if…..serious…..I thought he did fine tbh, improvement considering he didnt directlt cause any goals against.
Gvardiol was the wrong side of the attacker, i'm not even sure he realised he was even there. Doesn't matter what went on beforehand, if he read the situation they wouldnt have scoredI have.
Its lazy to blame that on Gvardiol and not Walker.
Akanji is closest to the player, and then Walker pushes up suddenly away from him, the ball quickly goes behind and Gvardiol is somehow expected to react quick enough to cover.
Thats an error of the backline going from:
Walker -> Akanji -> Gvardiol in terms of blame.
Im not saying he played great, but its better than other games where he would directly cause the error for the goal.Not….sure….if…..serious…..
Honestly, his positional play after he switched to centre half today was abysmal. Genuinely amazing how often the opposition is able to get in in front of him from simple long balls downfield. He’s been an accident waiting to happen for weeks. Inexplicable, cos he’s generally fairly comfortable in possession.
Akanji was there initially, he cant be wrong side of him.Gvardiol was the wrong side of the attacker, i'm not even sure he realised he was even there. Doesn't matter what went on beforehand, if he read the situation they wouldnt have scored
And I'll never be convinced it wasntAkanji was there initially, he cant be wrong side of him.
You should go further back in the clip instead of looking at the direct moment.
Ill never be convinced thats Gvardiols fault.
