Excellent again. I watch Rodri and he is a good player in his own right, but if there was one thing I wish he could learn from Dinho, it’s to get his head up and look for the forward pass. Dinho is so progressive from CDM and Rodri is the polar opposite.

That’s because Fernandinho is ultimately a box-to-box midfielder. Those are his instincts. The fact that he’s also probably the best defensive midfielder of his generation is truly impressive

Rodri is certainly more conservative, there’s no question about that. There are times when that’s an asset, but there are definitely times when the game is there to be grabbed by the scruff of the neck and Rodri doesn’t do that to the same degree
