25 | Gianluigi Donnarumma - 2025/26

Not one long kick and not one pass in the air to the men open on the wings. Compare that with his opening games, when he was trying to be more Ederson-like, and the movement by others, almost around the edge of the entire half now, and you see a system tailored to his abilities.

And one which resulted in another clean sheet

In a mad way, he makes think of a few Sunday league keepers I played with. Just looks big and daft and happy to engage with the centre forwards if they piss about with him! Slightly better at saving shots obviously but I wouldn't fancy his footwork on Plant Hill or Clayton. I love him!

The closest they came to scoring was when they hit the post from a corner conceded by Donnarumma.

If we keep playing this way, we will almost certainly drop a clanger at some point, but we’re also going to expose teams through the middle if they push up so far. Fun times.

Yeah after a terrible back pass from either Stones or Dias, he should've just booted it instead of trying to pass wide but it was a shite pass to him in the first place.

it was not conceded by him, as in it being his fault. It was a shit ball back to him from Dias with him being under pressure.
It wasn’t intended as criticism of him. The pass back was certainly poor, but Donnarumma clearly had no intention of hoofing it into row Z, which I think is a price worth paying.

Yet to make any mistakes leading to a goal, and already saved us plenty points. With him in goal, it never feels like we will concede. Best in the business.

I think that was the corner where Dias played a ridiculous ball back to him

I'm enjoying the fact that we don't really concede goals the minute we are tickled

such a game changing signing. Trafford actually should leave in January lol.

Who the hell tried gaslighting us into thinking he was shit at dealing with crosses?
Theres video evidence and I admit I was a little concerned. But it was a couple years back when in reality he was still only 23/24 so understandable mistakes. However, He looked about 33 so you expected a veteran to do better ;)

But hes a monster. Had a superb start to his city career and only 26!!! Mad.
