25 | Gianluigi Donnarumma - 2025/26

Stop trying to talk to the refs mate, I don't know what you're saying or what these cunts think you're saying, but someone should tell him to stop talking to them at all, can't have you booked every game.
Ref wasn't even looking at him the **** I think VAR said book him lol

But he's definitely a target for refs and he's a banker for a booking

Just let the captain talk and protest to the ref, that's why the rat from Trafford doesn't get booked for screaming at their faces.

World class keeper in a lot of ways, but against Leeds he was poor. It’s not exactly controversial to say that.
Was he at fault for either goal? He looked more like a victim of some very poor defensive play and a team that stopped going forward. I'm not saying he was great. There really was no reason for him to be. But he wasn't poor other than a single "error". There are people on here with agendas against this guy and quite frankly they make me sick. And factually they don't know d@#k...

Did I say he was at fault for either goal?

He’s great a shot stopping, but with crosses/ free kicks he’s quite poor. I don’t think his passing is great either. Hardly an agenda is it .

I was objecting to some on here with obvious agendas. You responded in a post that read to me as justifying what was being said. So I responded to you expanding on my thoughts. Don't take it personal, but there's no question some people on here have an agenda against Donnarumma.

I don’t want it to happen but I think Donny is going to be a bust. He’s very calamitous on corners and I dunno, I just hope they keep hold of Trafford. I feel like his chance will come before the end of the season.

Feel free to mock this comment in 5 years. I hope I’m wrong.

I don't really understand what's brought all this talk on of Donnarumma not being the right guy. It feels similar to the talk you hear sometimes about Haaland not being the right guy for City.

When you have players as good as Donnarumma and Haaland, who have very specific specialist qualities, you play to their strengths instead of trying to bend them into something they're not.

That's up to Pep to work out.

It’s all well and good stopping a few more shots than Ederson/Trafford but I’d argue he cost us 3 goals today by being shit under crosses and teams have worked it out, Fulham were just pumping balls into the box all second half.

Even if the cross doesn’t go near him or it gets cleared by a defender, he’s all over the place when a follow up shot goes in.

The backline also looks badly organised, when he fist came they all seemed to trust him but the defenders don’t like giving him the ball now or trust that he can clean up simple loose balls on his own.

He's starting to really piss me off with his aerial problems, you're a big fucking lad so smash through everyone, I knew it was an old weakness but I thought he'd gotten over it after watching him in the CL KO stages with PSG and his first games with us, but it's still there.

There’s no real excuse for someone of his size to be so poor on crosses. It’s not like when we had that dwarf Given in net and he was glued to his line because he was 4’7”.

We brought him in because he’s an excellent shot stopper, which he is, but we’ve also bought him when the whole League has gone back to the 1990s and decided high balls into the box are the way to go. If you’re not able to catch it, punch it to the sides but don’t flap it back into the middle.

His inability to deal with balls into the box is becoming a serious problem, don't think I've seen the lad catch a ball yet. Incredibly weak punch to give them their 4th.

This issue was well documented before we signed him though, he wasn't suddenly just going to improve massively in a league where the ball comes in high even more and the protection afforded to keepers is even less than he is used to. you'd think we would have a plan to combat it.
