It got worse though when he stayed there when we needed a fullback to overlap later on in the game. Unbelievable that any manager wouldn’t think it’s shit or bust time so Nunes was a much better option

Dross since returning from injury, so slow and ponderous on the ball and shite defensively, thought it was absolutely criminal how he let Eze get in front of him for the goal. He was at fault for the second aswell that was disallowed by inexplicably tripping over the ball in his own penalty area. Nunes was doing well at full back, Gvardiol at centre back, why the manager has changed that system that was working to accommodate him I don't know.

We won several games and pep just straight up puts Nunes on the bench to play players who didn’t play good this season again. Favoritism at its finest. Imagine having such an ego. First we asked "why isn't khusanov not playing "?because we can't change a winning back four ok now Nunes himself is ousted because of this guy who came back from injury and straight into line up. I don't know if I can trust pep with the rebuild and ousting some bozo players like Akanji, Bernado,Grealish ,Gundogan, john stones . That's my big worry he is attached to some of the players and that's hurting even I heard someone said that pep didnt want new players in Jan and said his players will be back but the board signed them whether he likes it or not but we are seeing signs like Nico,khusanov and reis not even playing minutes and he is showing loyalty and this will kick us in the teeth in the next season

Khusanov would have stayed in front of Eze and cleared that cross for their goal with the utmost effort from every fibre of his being.

I saw the value of playing him because from a defensive standpoint he should be better than Nunes. The goal was disgraceful from him yesterday, he has a look to see where Eze is and then doesn't get to the ball first. It was appalling from such a senior player.

Akanji is a good back up for us. No way he should be starting, especially after such a long time off injured.
