not sure we need to hang onto him for years. if Khusanov or Reis nowhere near close to replace him soon, some scouts needs to be fired.

Might have just been playing above his level for 18 months. Been dreadful this season. Absolutely should not be in our starting 11 next season, and tbh I'm not sure he should be here at all.

He’s having a really poor season… when you need to be the leader at the back with Stones, Dias and Aké being injured so much and the so called captain shrinking with the responsibility and fucking off, Akanji has been the senior man out there for us at the back and he’s got worse with the responsibility of it.

22 year old Gvardiol who had a back four team of him, Walker, Simpson-Pusey and Lewis in a few games has shown to be a better leader at the back than Manu.

Really disappointing to see, he was excellent in the previous two seasons.

I'm not a fan of Grealish as he hasn't produced but I think Akanji is even worse.

We've gotten as much as we could out of 15 mil.. it's time to play the kids and make them into legit PL defenders and no I'm not talking about his mistake in the 2nd minute.

He had that Vinny swagger in his first two seasons where he was happy to go up physically with anyone
