Ya?even tho he was the only goal scorer or scoring opener in some pl games at city? (last season and this one)
it's like you u have never watched a city game. u just look at some forum replays and randomly comment XD
I think he was the second-best City Player this year and if you think otherwise you may need some recap.
Nonsense stat imo. You simply cannot ignore the other 9 players and their collective performances to conclude one player having a negative impactYa?
It's always a lonely day for Gabby AND Aguero when the selfish duo of Mahrez and Raz start together.
It looks good on paper but it's our worst lineup by far.
the stats i've posted elsewhere about win percentage in the PL prove it. Now for my own amusement I've compiled the stats for all competitions,
HA! It gets worse! with Mahrez and Sterling starting we are an abysmal 14-7-2, and converting cup games to points they got 44 of 69 possible, 64%
1.9 points per game.
Then with only one or the other starting, mostly Raz, we are 27-4-3, 84 of 102 points possible, 82.3%.
and 2.47 points per game.
Basically dropping Marhez from starting gained 18% more points overall and 1/2 a point per game, and our teams goal rate went up over 1/2 a goal a game.
He's also alright at other times too.
he does slow it down a lot, our goals, and more of them, are more free flowing with him out. He takes it alone every time and only tries to pass as a last option after he has worked himself into a bad spot for a crap pass that gets blocked too often.Nonsense stat imo. I believe it.Ya?

I see a team game of 11 players seeking a common goal. Using your stat view on life, should we look at other common denominators of who played when we lost and berate them also.he does slow it down a lot, our goals, and more of them, are more free flowing with him out. sometimes stats don't tell the whole picture, BUT THE RESULTS DO.
I'm not a hater, he's got talent, but some fans see what they want to see, others put the analytical work in, relate that data to the dynamic on the pitch, and come to a conclusion verified by the results.
Go ahead, but the stats and results are overwhelming in this regard. They dictate the team dynamic by holding on and going it selfishly alone too often. They give the other team time to set up, till our strikers are sat in the middle of the bus. With these two on the pitch it should be the opposite, lightning fast attacks, but it's not. Their first thought should be one, two touches and a through ball to the striker at pace, they rarely do.I see a team game of 11 players seeking a common goal. Hmm.
