Good running for the assist. Only seen the highlights.

It’s when he does those fake shot turns, puts the defender on their arse then proceeds to make the wrong decision 8/10 that fucks me off. Imagine shooting from a tight angle with two defenders on the line and the keeper between them. Square it!

Well. We already have a bunch of players who are strong thru the middle. But what i would suggest is more rotations between tue Front players. You can't keep someone like Mahrez on the RW for 90 min. I think thats also a reason why Bernardo is not that good this season. Obviously he is a left foot but not as good on the left side as D.Silva who even started as a LW in Valencia before turning into a CAM. If KDB, Mahrez and maybe Sterling switch Positions during a match we might be even better. You can't give everyone 100% freedom in the field but you can make it mich easier for everyone to release their full potential. Pep is too strickt imo in this Department. When Chelsea dominated they sept overlapping the left or right side by Pedro/Willian/Hazard to Make their attack much more unpredictable.

Until Sane comes back or we get someone like him, the winger approach is a bad idea, and building through the wings I bad overall.

The 2nd half showed a very good alternative, play one player on each wing (wingbacks instead of winger and fullback) and overload the centre pitch. Most of our players like playing centrally so it makes sense.

While we have a lot of central players, only Kevin is elite at driving through the middle, so having Mahrez here as well is very strong. Something like this would be pretty strong imo.

—————Sterling———-Mahrez————-Kevin
Mendy——Zinchenko——-Gundogan————Walker
—————CB—————Rodri————CB

Fluid front 3, Mahrez and Kevin would probably drop deep more often to make a 4 man midfield.

I think he lacks the acceleration to be truly deadly in tight spaces, but when he has space he's an absolute star. I don't think it matters where on the pitch he is in either case.

Decent game today against the Blades, but he still makes mistakes with his final ball , choosing to shoot when others are better placed , he is always taking the game to the opposition and i love that about any player , take your man on, if you can, and he does it nearly every game.

Do we have a more selfish player attacking? Will always shoot himself even when much better options available.

Worked hard yesterday, and bags of skill, but I find him frustrating to watch, personally.
