The most frustrating part about Mahrez is he was a completely pointless signing to begin with and there’s an argument to be made that bringing him in helped push Sane out the door.

The fact he couldn’t even turn it on against a team like Cheltenham is damming.

We should be pushing him out the door this summer, but have a feeling he’s one of those players that will just cling on.

I think he’ll have some suitors, but I’d be surprised if anyone’s willing to match his wages.

Couldn't take on a league 2 defender. They were pushing him off the ball with ease and you could tell he didn't fancy a fight. His shot when he was through 1 on 1 with the keeper was so shit. Just hit it directly at the keeper.

Regrettably he can’t cope with ANYTHING physically punishing. Put him against a mediocre but thuggish player & he would be second best. It’s a shame because technically he is, without doubt, excellent.

Whereas there are a few players this season who have had slow starts and seemed to be off form there is only one who hasn't put the graft in to make up for it. I have never been critical of Jesus, Bernie, Gundo, Rodri and even Mendy because they work hard and seem to be really a big part of team spirit. As expected most have now returned to top form and are rightly getting the plaudits. Mahrez is the exact opposite as I said in the match thread Mahrez plays for Mahrez and he single handily changes the dynamic of the entire team.

This year we have seen Dias effect the defence so much making each and every one of the defence improve. FFS is the polar opposite and makes our attacking players look worse. I hate saying this but I will cheer when he leaves us. Anyway rant over.
