I can’t stand him and he wasn’t amazing, but that was far better than we have seen from him for months.

If Sterling had that level of performance plus that goal, the reactions on here towards him would be completely different. Might even get the words “world class” thrown around.

Gabby and Bernie went out there and did it with ease

Gabby beat Digne once and then had his cross blocked. I don’t remember Bernardo dribbling past either Digne or Godfrey tbh. Mahrez scored a wonderful goal and was involved throughout. Personally he wasn’t my motm but to call it an average performance is harsh.
