He will always be FFS. Even if he becomes the Algerian Messi, but better.
This. I never called him it when he was struggling, but do so now because it's funny and even more so because some on here get their knickers in a twist about it. I think the daily mail type obsession some 'blues' have with slagging Raz off is a bigger problem. First reaction from some posters last night when ffs scored was to slag Raz off.

One of the ways he adds to our team is then when we play the big left to right cross field diagonal pass you know he will kill it stone dead. The other side can’t go man to man on him because it will open a huge gap between centre back and full back. So we get the ball to him in space and things happen. Against Palace you could see the difference. Cancelo miscontrolled the first couple, and then started doing firsttime lay off passes. Not a criticism of him, just an observation that the ability FFS has to kill a 50 yard pass stone dead is one of the central features of our ability to wear teams down by shifting play from one side to the other.

He was never a bad player, he just looked like he didnt fit the team as well as others did. He now is first choice in the right wing position, and rightly so.

The biggest improvement in my view is that he is now more willing to pass the ball to team mates. Previously he would only cut inside for a shot, hold onto the ball if no shot was on and then play a nothing ball backwards. Now he still runs at people, mostly inside, but if there is a decent option, either a little through ball or a cross he is happy to play it.

It's probably been said already but what a mentality. He's as cool as a cucumber. Stepped forward at Anfield to take (and miss) a penalty at the death. Despite this he stepped forward at a crucial moment against Dortmund and buried it. Had the balls to take a free kick on his wrong side last week. After the game last night he nonchalantly shrugged and said "Yes, it was good" about the win.

The likes of Ruben, Kyle and Fern are warriors but he has the mentality of an artist. He's not fazed by anything.

Mahrez has always been a good player. He was inconsistent in the first few months after his arrival and in the early part of this season, culminating in a no show at Cheltenham. Mahrez is playing the best football of his City career but he also did well last season and he performed well in the last few games when we won the domestic quad.

The bigger issue is that we still have too many fans who focus their criticisms on the same individuals, regardless of form. It’s been the same throughout my 45 years of watching us.

Im chuffed to bits for him, I have questioned his role in our side especially when we are struggling to break a team down who are defending deep and in numbers. But of late he has really shown what he is made of. Deserves his place in the side. That's why I'm just a fan and Pep is the best manager in the world. :-)

Riyad's having a terrific season but he really has no idea how to tackle, does he? It's almost comical. No matter, he's started tracking back to generally buzz around and make himself a nuisance. And his finishing!

He has many successful tackles per game. What are you on about

Not in my house.

I’m prepared to swallow my bollocks and admit I was wrong but still love saying “FFS Mahrez” when he lashes one into the top corner.

I use it more ironically now that I’ve climbed off my high horse.
Same , ffs is and will always be used by me ,ironic and dare i say shows a sense of humour some are lacking
