Mahrez is incredibly frustrating, but in 103 appearances for City he has 55 goals and assists from right wing. That does not deserve comparisons to Bony and Santa Cruz. I think criticism is more than deserved, I don’t want him in the team either. But some of what we’re seeing is more abuse than criticism. He’s been quite productive despite being utterly infuriating and is clearly not a team player. But people are getting a bit lost in a who can hate him the most contest.

As I've said before, if he was contributing Ronaldo/Messi type numbers to the team, we could accept his greed and unwillingness to press from the front.

However, the cold hard facts are that he has 1 goal and 1 assist this season in 9 appearances. Both of those came in the 5-2 loss to Leicester.

He's a passenger that we can't carry anymore.

The difference between the top top players such as KDB and Aguero is that they know when to pass and when to be greedy
They play for the team at all costs
I love watching KDB one of the best and most creative players in the world
chasing back and making a tackle
Mahrez presses lazily and makes bad decisions when in possession.
However he has had some good games but not as consistent as he should be
Time to move him on if we can and g ET back some money

Interestingly, Foden has 32 in half the minutes, many of which are scattered here and there and out of position.
