The lad needs a goal, that’s true, but he was one of the better performers against Everton and caused Mykelenko all kinds of problems…to the point that he should have been sent off for 2 yellows!!

Thought he had a good game overall. He's 20 years old, so there's bound to be deficiencies in his game. But he didn't hide and tried to make something happen.

Have high hopes for him.

And thats the problem. He is the same every game and how many has he scored? He ignores the easier pass or cross and dribbles until someone (usually far bigger than him) stands in his way then he shoots with the inevitable result. He either misses by miles or the shot is blocked and we lose the ball. Sorry, correction, other than when he is tackled and he immediately falls to the ground waving his arms at the referee.
He should have had an assist yesterday granted but he should be one of our main creative outlets and his 30 games or so have produced zero goals and just a handful of assists. It is very frustrating as there is clearly some talent in their and I'm surprised it has not been unlocked more by the coaching team yet. He has time to come good and I hope he does.

To think the shit Mahrez used to get... credit where it's due, he tries, but he literally has zero end product, runs and dribbles and does the odd trick and then loses the ball or smashes it into row Z, rinse and repeat. He's a prospect at very best and I'd be suprised if the lad isn't playing for Girona again within the next few seasons.

Added another dimension to his game in those first 15 minutes of the second half when he was willing to take his man to the byline on his right foot.

I think he can be as good as Mahrez, needs to put a foot in now and again though.

Beat his man a lot but did he ever find a City player with a cross apart from a couple that were just too high for Haaland.

I put in a video before Everton game how he scored 10+ goals for Girona last season. almost all of them close range, just inside or outside the 6 yard box and a few from around pen spot. him arriving to crosses-passes or him breaking into that central deep position and reacting well and finishing it off.

almost none were from the general wide area like edge /corner of the box, taken a shot, goal.

we aint asking that from wingers to arrive around the area between 6 yard box and pen spot. albeit we used to score many like that but mainly in the Sterling-era...

Just one of several players who could be improved with better coaching. Pep and/or individual players are getting the pelters but little is mentioned of the coaching staff. Some fcker needs to be managing their performance.

Absolutely has the quality to be a major player for us for the next decade, not many better young wingers out there.

We stuffed the central area already. No room for wingers to arrive at. Foden Bernado and Kova almost never every leave the center plus Halaand. They are not like prime Kev who can run around.
