Thought he was okay in the 1st half. Felt like he ran out of steam in the 2nd half.

Just needs to toughen up that bit more. All the key attributes are there - he's got pace to burn, nice skills, confidence in his ability with the ball. Think he'll become much better if he just fills out a bit. Gets knocked off the ball or muscled out of 50/50s a bit too often. Also seems to struggle in front of goal if he's not got all the space he needs - seems to lack composure if he's got defenders anywhere near him. He'll worry about that less when he's older and bigger. He'll be mega next season and beyond.

All I've said is that when he bulks up a bit the 5-10% of his game that's lacking at the moment will be made up for.

Only real grumble is that he cannot run back like that with the ball and stop when touched if he hasn't heard the whistle, as he's not always going to be given the foul. Just because he got one earlier for the same doesn't mean he'll always get them; that would require consistency from referees!

The goals will come, he reminds me of Raphinha except is miles better than Raphinha at his age.

Just had a quick scan of stats for Mahrez, Salah and Raphinha.

Something that they all have in common is that they started scoring more goals and contributing more assists (in top leagues) from approx. the age of 23.

Savinho is on the right trajectory for his age. Loads of brilliant qualities about him and also lots to improve. The future is bright.

Like all youngsters, he’s inconsistent. I do believe he’s going to be a very good player though.

However, he needs to work on his shooting like you heard that Lampard and Salah did over the years. I always thought Salah was a poor finisher in his Roma days and before. Now it’s the best part of his game. Savio needs to practise practise practise his shooting.

Neither of them have got any quicker since, though.

Doku is well into his 2nd season, has played plenty of games, and yet nothing whatsoever has improved with his final ball.

Really poor today. Doku was double marked all game, he wasnt and had chances to supply haaland yet didn't do it once. His work rate off the ball is still off too, it seems like he just forgets that he has to work off the ball. He's going to be inconsistent, he's 20.
