He’s looking a fantastic attacking addition to the team, and in my opinion just the kind of direct, pacy threat we needed.
 
Impressive start to the season, had a bid impact on the game. He will get plenty of assists this season feeding Haaland and we now have real pace on both sides.

It’s not bollocks, it does take most players time to learn Pep’s system.
Sav has spent a year at Girona with Michel so that is a big help in terms of his acclimatisation; also, probably easier for a winger to get with the programme that a central mid or an RB…

Yes , but more attacking. That’s why I think if Pep leaves , Michel might be number one to replace him. Similar philosophy and similar play style.
 
Looked good yesterday. He could nail down that RW spot. 20 years old, and £30m; bargain. Question, though; why are some (even some of our own fans) referring to him as "Savio"? Am I missing something?

Strange take but not a surprise.
It’s been true for many many players.
The fact this kid has slotted in as if he’s been here years should be something to be buzzing about, not an excuse to fucking moan about others.

Previously, during his time with Girona, he played under the name ‘Savio’ on his shirt. The footballer shared that the name 'Savinho' was used on his first Brazil jersey during his international debut against England in March, so he chose to keep it for his new club.
 
He’s much better than I expected him to be.

Should be a YPOTY contender if he stays fit.
