26 | Savinho - 2024/25

Can see why there was some deliberation as to whether he was ready to come here this summer. He's going to be a top player for us, of that there is no doubt, if people cannot see that, they have no understanding of the game, but he's at the champions so he has to produce now. He's currently as productive as Grealish, he's getting opportunities and it's not bad luck, it's poor composure/finishing. He should be on shooting practice daily, getting it drilled into him in training, can only assume he's not.

Feel like we need to simplify his game, let him concentrate on taking his man on and get a ball in, pick up a few assists that way and buuld confidence as it all seems too much for him at present.

Absolute disgrace the way some of you are piling on this lad.
Some City fans have no patience for the young lads. I can remember similar things being said about Sane in his first season. It took Leroy until about 3/4 into that season to properly get going. I think the plan at the start of the season was for Bobb to be our RW and Savinho would be slowly integrated. It hasn’t been the best of seasons for any young player.

I think he will come good, needs to toughen up though how many times this season as he gone off on a stretcher to be back in a game or 2.

Technically he is very good up until when he shoots. In my opinion he takes his shot when he isn’t set properly, probably anxious to get a goal. You can see his balance isn’t correct.

He just needs to keep his composure when he gets into the box as he has the ability to beat his man, he can deliver crosses well and has the technical ability to feed a tricky pass through the opponents defence. Just needs to keep his head in those moments. It would be nice if older heads in the team gave him some encouragement.

Would be playing much better in a side that was functioning. Was absolute dynamite in that Arsenal game, like the rest of the team, until Rodri got injured of course.

Has been patchy since then. Injury hasn't helped. But really needs to toughen up. Also has a touch of Gabriel Jesus about him, where missing a chance feels like the end of the world for him.

Although I liked Gabby when he was here and I'm sure I'll like Savinho too. Hoping he improves.
