He does have a somewhat awkward shooting technique. But I like how active he is, taking initiative, demanding the ball all the time, coming closer to the middle and the halfway line, contributing defensively. He has time on his side to become more polished.

had to dig up how he scored his goals in La Liga because here so far he looks miles away from that output.

interestingly almost all coming from him breaking into the box and taking the shot almost just outside/inside the 6 yard box or from around the penalty spot area. not many of those cut inside as a winger and make a shot from corner of the box type of goals but much more centrally taken shots and quite close range. you rarely ever see for example Grealish to even take up these positions and hard to see Savinho being able to. we ask different stuff from our wingers than this type of movements into the box.

rarely gets into similar spots at City so far, not really breaking into the box here. also faces much more packed defenses of course.

Could easily be another in the long line of players who fail to impress in their first season and then hugely improve in the second. Clearly got loads of raw talent and arguably a higher ceiling than Doku, for me. Only turned 20 this year let's not forget.

Deserved an assist in the second half but my word his shooting is awful, it's especially noticeable since he takes so many shots, when he was trying to play with the team and set up his teammates he looked much better, he needs to start on the right because we have no one else there until Bobb returns.

I think that he is a really, really good prospect. MOM today, IMO.

I thought he was a bright spot. Kept going at his man and beat him consistently both toward the byline and inside, but his shooting technique is so ugly.
