For me Savinho, Bobb, Rico, Ake, Phillips, Ortega, and Bettinelli don't play in any competitive situation bar the League Cup. Kovacic, Khusonov, and Trafford play in peripheral roles. The remaining 16 should be more than enough to win a shitload of games and provide some legitimate rotation.
Donnarumma, Dias, Gvardiol, Stones, Nunes, NOR, Ait Nouri, Rodri, Nico, Bernardo, Reijnders, Foden, Cherki, Doku, Haaland, and Marmoush.
Focus specifically on an attacking wide player in January to bolster this crew with a much needed addition. Come the Summer we review and make whatever further moves are necessary...

Fair comments....you mean transported to france, then played a year in the netherlands and then one in spain, before coming to sunny manchester, and was enrolled in English lessons for the last 2 years and admits he is a bit shy but can speak and understand it.
Bit like when I left sunny manchester at 19 to work in france and the channel islands and 90% of the kitchen team spoke french or poruguese, and lots of them didn't speak english and had come from brittany and maderia so worked away from home all between 19 -25 yrs old, yet we all grafted for our meagre wage and seemed to perform as required.
Shhhh don’t put them off. He’s excellent. Would be sad to see him go. Would be impossible to replace….Do folk at Tottenham not watch football?
Fair play to you, he's that shit I wouldn't even be able to bring myself to take the piss in that wayShhhh don’t put them off. He’s excellent. Would be sad to see him go. Would be impossible to replace….
The new contract was absolutely fucking bonkers. Epitomises all the poor work that's been done to the squad since 2023.Problem with him is he’s completely ineffective and him constantly being picked to play is stopping us winning games! As well as his new contract making it unlikely we try and sign someone else like Semenyo who’d instantly improve us.
He will almost certainly be in the squad.Hope he is nowhere near our match day squad tomorrow afternoon.
Pep's thrown a lot of bathwater away with far better players.I actually feel a bit sorry for him. It's easy to forget he's only 21 and at the moment he's just looking badly out of his depth. I think the bit that gets people's backs up is there is more than a bit of "not as good as he thinks he is" about him. I have a lot of time for players who make mistakes if you can clearly see they are trying. Nunes was like that when he first arrived. But Savinho plays like his defensive duties are below him, while failing woefully to deliver at the other end of the pitch.
Pep won't throw the baby out of the bathwater. However, there's an animosity building against him now, and so for the short term at least he needs to be taken out of the firing line.

My eyes do not lie to me, nothing you say will convince me he's at the level required to play for city and I've not seen enough from him to suggest he ever will be. He's ineffective on the ball, criminally lazy off it and not suited physically or mentally to play in the Premier League. He's obviously not having a great season, but locking down the guy who's 21 and was just our top assister and was la liga TOTY as a 19 year old isn't that daft, especially if we price him at 70m. Which when you look at the prices of Eze, Simons, Kudus is probably about right based on age, potential and track record.
I'm disappointed with the last few games too but I don't think Semenyo or Mahrez at 21 years old would have a kinder thread than this one.
This idea that Savinho, Bobb, Lewis are our least consistent, least ready players - yeah they should be they're 22 or under. The rebuild doesn't happen if you don't give Nunes, Doku a couple of years to grow and now they need that too. That's how that works.
I do suspect if Spurs had never bid this thread would be a lot more about giving a young talented but flawed prospect time, rather than bemoaning money we didn't get and calling the CEO an idiot.
Also I think people need to understand he's playing the role Grealish did - hold width, recycle possession, create chances for assists. He's still a good dribbler, a good passer, smart in his movements, inconsistent in his defensive play and a pretty poor finisher. I get most of you want him driven out of the club, but if he does come good he can easily be one of the 5-10 best RW in the world, which is why I imagine Pep, Soriano, Txiki, Viana, Frank and Levy held him in a higher regard than most on bluemoon.
