Crosses through the six yard box that beat the keeper are not shit crosses. It isn’t his fault that no one ran into that space to tap it in. I swear at least half of you don’t know what you’re watching.

As I'm sure you've played football yourself you'll know that you don't pass to where you want people to go, you pass to where people are going.
 
Bright spark first half. Attacked his man with intent every time. End product was lacking but he did put a few good balls in that deserved to have somebody on the end of them, he did his role in those instances. There is a top player there, will Maresca want to bother trying to get him there, not sure. Won't have an issue if he's kept or sold.
 
Did well in the first half but was up against some poor sod who hasn't played any football for a long time. Rightly replaced at halftime and that was that

Nowhere near good enough for where we need to be and he's not on his own. I imagine that today was a lot of players last game for us

We seem to have a lot of Europa standard players. They're bloody brilliant on their day, but their day is 1 in 6 games.
 
I’ve been his biggest critic this season but I actually thought he was good today on the left. Beat the full back a lot and put a few good balls into dangerous areas. He’s nowhere near decisive enough in the final third but there’s something to work with there.
 
Not ready for prime time at all. It might come but as it stands his final ball/decision is appalling. He does great to get in threatening positions then completely shits the bed every time.

Most even keeled assessment. Though I think selling him is the move. He seems allergic to goals.

He fizzed at least two crosses into the box that should’ve been goals. There’s no one these days attacking the six yard box or back post it’s the most mystifying thing I’ve ever seen. The only explanation I can think of is they’ve been instructed not to do it. Otherwise makes no sense.

Has all the tools but lacks one critical element and thats heart. Once cash came on second half his race was run and that changed the game for villa.

He would be fine if he was our 4th 5th choice project player but hes one of only 3 wingers we need a now winger for one of those three spots
 
Got in great positions 1st half only to either deliver to the wrong place or get blown over. Nowhere good enough 2 years on.
 
I think many of our fans think a lot more players are leaving than actually can.

Let me see:
1. Bernardo, John, Kova, Savio, Rico, Tijanni, Nico, Trafford, may Ake see... That's a lot....
 
Did well in the first half, put some great balls across the face of goal that were crying out for tap ins.

But the second half he struggled (as the whole team did). Biggest problem is lack of desire to track back and help out - you cant do that in todays football

Not sure if maresca will keep him, its one of those situations where wouldnt be fussed if we stuck with him one more year or sold this summer
 
Feel this could be a big mistake! He is still only 21 and the only thing he is missing yeah it’s a big miss scoring and assists but he is close for me if it clicks he will be a 20/25 goal contribution! Don’t forget he got about 13 assists in his first season! Maybe Maresca don’t want to wait hope he comes good! 50m for him this summer is fair but still feel give him another season..

BREAKING: Tottenham have now reactivated talks to sign Savinho this summer with initial discussions underway. The winger is open to the move while Newcastle are also monitoring him.
